I am a woman and outside of my precious husband, hanging with women is a most wondrus way to give myself a gift.It never surprises me after a day out with other women, my energy soars.Today a group of us attended a wonderful review of some terrific artists and on the way home I was feeling wiped out and thought about how good my bed would feel... Well I already have the second load of laundry going and I am going to take my watercolor paper and paints out and do my thing..I am going to paint a picture for my granddaughters 12th. birthday and surprise her.... Today IS AN AWESOME DAY as I am spending time with 2 of my 28 grandchildren and exploring Gumbo Limbo Park together.My first priority is to myself as far as planning the food I will eat for I am a compulsive overeater and my meals must be in order. Oh What A BEAUTIFUL MORNING, OH WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY! Today I spent a terrific love day with my childhood girlfriend, Sandy. We played with eachother as if we were still 10 years old, sliding down the slide and swinging on the swings laughing like 2 little girls having the time of our lives..We talked about our friends and our dates and our families than and now and were just happy to be together. We met in 1949 and continue our love days which today include getting our grandsons together in March for the first time. I know how very blessed I am tO be able to hug my precious friend, Sandy! Today is the first day of Chanukah and all is well in my world today.My family ,what a fantastic love family I have....Theres only one missing link but I have faith that will change in GODS time not mine so here comes my trust knowing all is well for today....Our family or parts of them, celebrate both holidays so we make the rounds of visiting as many of them as we can get in, on Christmas Day...Hugs are everywhere and laughter is abundant throughout each home.......We totally emerced ourselves into the arms of our greatgrandchildren who showed us their new bikes and served me tea from her first tea set.What a gife of love for all to share. How does my life excite me.... This is a terrific day as I am beginning a exercise program that is longggggg over due. Just the fact that I made the decision to do this makes me feel healthy... Oh; Ijust love this cool weather and looking at all the beautiful boots the gals are wearing. I do love fashion wheather its a remodeling of a home or clothing, it all excites me.I could hang out at the mall and just people watch while my mind starts wandering here and there and I get entertained by life..Iam spending my hours at my Dads home doggie sitting and Isimply love it and the precious dog Magic.Unconditional love.... Once, a few years ago, one of my friends told me about rubbing it in and so today I will pass this magic on to you......So many of us are so used to telling ourselves mean things that we dont even realize it is happening..Well one day some years back, a very bright person asked me to go through the day and listen to the messages I tell myself and guess what.... NOT TOO NICE TO MYSELF ,AWFULLY SHOCKING. Fortunate for me and believe me,,, there are no coinsidances,, a very preciousFRIEND gave me a complement,,I said thank you ... and she said RUB IT IN... Iwatched her as she rubbed her upper chest and knew the good feeling were thru G.O.D. Family Traditions

My precious Dad is 93 .He is a riot with the greatest sense of humor , that I find myself writing his funny stuff down so in the future my kids and grandchildren will read these things and crack up like I do.Today I picked him up to do his Chanukah shopping which includes 4 generations of love, he. MY DAD, MAKES THE 5th generation we have in our family..This willbe another fantastic holiday because I learned how to focus on all the love around me and not what my gifts will be .MY FAMILY IS MY GIFT..........This is the first year we are cutting down on our gift giving and that feels very strange as this tradition has been going on since I was a little girl.Change is an up in my life today as I look at it as the glass half full.Changing frees me of the shoulds and musts and gives me room to expand myself to new horizens.... A Friend in Need

This has been a super duper day being surrounded by love. Iopened up my palms toward the universe and gave all to my H.P. AND ALL IS WELL. I had many of my grandchildren with me and they are great huggers. Such good medicine. I continue to feel the calm envelope my heart and soul and fill me up with gratitude. You know what.......I was wondering if the park would be opened after the hurricane and if not , where would we hold the benefit for my friend Laura, and I gave it all to G D soooooooooo you got it ...2 places became available . What a great way for me to live. One day at a time or sometimes one minute at a time. Oh I am so filled up with gratitude because today I made a decision to put beautiful thoughts in my mind and suddenly I felt empowered. All day today I was filled with joy and peace. I had a few friends over this morning and even though we just experienced a hurricane we chose to share on our blessings and the smiles came back on our faces and in our hearts. Getting Myself Centered

I sat here for a moment to just get myself centered and to calm my whirrling mind. Ahh ,the peace has set in and all is well. This morning I woke up with a song in my heart and G D by my side. Who could ask for anything more..I HAVE BEEN PUTTING SOME POSITIVE ENERGY TOWARD MY FRIEND, LAURA..The hurricane blew away her home and I turned to my HP for some idea of how to heal her and of course I RECEIVED AN ANSWER. Some friends and I are doing a "LAURA LOVE DAY " to raise a little money for her. I even have a childhood friend who is donating her creative puppetry talents to the cause on this coming Wednesday. The date is 11/09/05. I feel so incredably blessed that I can hear ANGEL WHISPERS...LOVE AND SERENITY ....karenergy10@aol.com
